Volunteer as a science leader
We exclusively reach young people from City Heights, a low-income, urban, and racially diverse community. We do this by providing science opportunities, mentorship, and growth mindset tools so that our students can believe, achieve, and lead in science and science-related fields.
We need volunteers, especially those who are racially diverse, who are willing to share their journey of becoming science leaders! We commit to ensuring the majority of all volunteers reflect the diversity of students in our community of City Heights.
About the Opportunity
Participate in a 20-minute virtual Q&A, facilitated by Ocean Discover’s Instructors, about your career pathway and journey as a Science Leader. Encourage and answer questions that help students explore science and various career paths.
