Become A Career Mentor
We exclusively reach young people from City Heights, a low-income, urban, and racially diverse community. We do this by providing science opportunities, mentorship, and growth mindset tools so that our students can believe, achieve, and lead in science and science-related fields.
We need volunteers to mentor our college-aged and early-career program alumni as they transition from higher education to careers! Our Career Access Mentors help our alumni refine their career goals, work on job application materials, and expand their professional networks.
About the Opportunity
- This annual opportunity starts in September of each year and ends the following June.
- Mentors and mentees meet twice a month.
- Ocean Discovery facilitates an orientation for all mentors and mentees.
