At Ocean Discovery Institute, our Teaching Fellows help students see that science is a place where they belong. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and meaningful relationships, Fellows create experiences that build students’ curiosity, confidence, and connection to science.
Our Teaching Fellows receive extensive training and professional development while gaining real-world experience working alongside students and our community. More than educators, they are mentors and role models who show up consistently, encourage exploration, and help young people recognize what is possible for their futures.
