1. By May 27: Fill out & return the following via email (jbarkan@oceandi.org) or text (207-232-0452) to Joel Barkan.
Must be completed by all volunteers this year:
- Fit To Travel Release Form (requires appointment with a medical provider)
- ODI Foreign Program Liability Form
- Submit your Mentor Biography (AKA “Badass Facts”) to provide information about yourself that we will use to introduce you to the students on your first morning in Bahia.
- Verify that your Passport does not expire before the day you return from Baja.
Must be completed if this if your first time participating or if your current status is out-of-date (Joel will cue you):
- LiveScan Fingerprint Check
- TB Risk Assessment (requires appointment with a medical provider)
2. Between May 20 – June 1: Obtain your Mexican Travel Visa prior to your departure. This cannot be obtained MORE than 30 days before you depart. Email your visa (jbarkan@oceandi.org) or text (207-232-0452) to Joel Barkan. After you send us your visa, we will print it and pack it with your trip.
